A thick and dense jungle encapsulates this planet. The jungle canopy lies miles above the surface, and virtually zero direct sunlight gets through. Under the canopy is extremely humid. Plants on the surface are generally parasitic or carnivorous as they cannot get to sunlight for their energy. There are frequent torrential rains however the forest canopy usually absorbs most of the downpour, and 'sweats' it out, creating the high humidity. There are frequent lightning storms also but fires don't last long because of the high water content of the trees.
